Befallen Is The Best

Hello and welcome to my legendary adventures in Norrath. And today we are in Befallen and I’ve been I’ve been grinding. I’ve been grinding almost 25 here. And it has been great. It has actually been a very nice little experience. Uh we I actually stayed in uh in in what was that? Blackburrow till 20. Um I just like they right when I was about to leave they said server’s coming down cuz I was going to come here. And I was like, oh, well, I might as well just uh hang out here for a little bit [music] and uh I was actually there for all the way till 20. So >> [laughter] >> definitely worked out pretty well. Uh now I came back here. I haven’t had any issues really on the down downstairs now. Um if you don’t know the knight spawns here, the uh baron and the soldier spawn here. Uh this guy I just killed uh what’s his name? Corvin spawns right here, right? And then the the other named lady uh with the go golem thing spawns there. I don’t think there’s any other names up in this area. No. >> [music] >> And then the the footman’s right there. So it’s a pretty nice little area. I’ve just been pretty much killing it nonstop and at this point it’s it’s gotten pretty easy. Uh all things considered. I’m at 48 AA. And uh seriously go to my lair. Also, look at my dot damage, right? I’m doing 20 and 25 for the two [music] dots that I have upgraded to tier three. And uh that’s just free free damage, right? >> [music] >> I’m also running the slow uh and the stamina song plus haste. So, it’s going it’s going pretty good. Uh today I was hoping to hit 25. Uh then we’re going to run off to I think Sole in [music] the next episode, but I kind of want to show off, you know, how it works down here with the uh with the the the the the this build, right? Like this this is this has been a phenomenal build. I have not had [music] any any real issues so far. And uh gear-wise, we’re using the enchanted fine steel bastard sword, uh which was on my uh hunt list for this zone. And uh most of our gear is Befallen gear now. Um with a few items that are not. And then the boots, uh I only got one pair of boots and they weren’t better. Then that, we got that. Uh and oh, I got the bow finally when I was in >> [music] >> uh in uh Blackburrow, so just took me a little bit longer to get it than I was expecting since we got uh so many other things every time. Uh see here. I don’t think there’s anything I want right now. Let’s get I don’t know. Let’s wait. The the AA potions I’ve been I’ve been absolutely hoarding [music] myself out on uh keeping them pretty much on cool down, but uh you know, it’s just speed up this lower lower level stuff that I find boring. I I like I like only like doing the raids, right? Like I don’t I don’t like doing [music] the lower level stuff too much, so hoping to get there uh pretty quick. But uh let’s go back into Duneline. I’ve just been going down here. This guy has been stingy. I only got one drop off of him and I’m I’m going to tear and uh difficulty one right now. Didn’t feel like going to any higher difficulty with the amount of extra hit points mob abs mobs have [music] but I’m almost certain I would have had no issue based on how this is going except for these stuns. Jeez. What is that? Is the priestess? Uh but it’s been it’s been good. Uh it was you know since since I changed my the the driver that crossover uses it’s been zero issues on Linux. So that’s good there and then uh Uh what else? And since they fixed fixed the instances on the server, I’ve had no problem making [music] an instance or entering an entrance so sounds good. There was a hotfix today that did a few few things. They changed the way loot works. I guess they ninja stealth nerfed >> [music] >> the way loot works and then they undid it in a follow-up patch. Um which is interesting but >> [music] >> you know it’s fine. There we go and then the right over here. Let’s [music] get this guy into the corner here. Yeah and I I use a little tool to split these two [music] just because fighting that the other guy is a real pain in the ass cuz he just constantly heals himself. He’s a paladin. So he’s just constantly healing and then he’ll waste all his mana healing this guy or himself whatever one you’re fighting and it’s just not worth wasting my resources to sustain [music] attacking both of them for the duration of his life. Uh we got studded [music] arms. We’re going a lot of merch those. I have most things to merch. Uh, but you can see these are these are pretty nice. So, we’re you know, we’re we’re looking pretty good like style-wise right here. We’re at 1,800 hit points. As we approach uh as we approach get you know, closer to uh level 30 when we get the AA for uh regen, right? We’re going to uh What is that going to be like? Uh, you know, 20 hit points regen from that. You know, we don’t have a whole lot right now. Uh, definitely uh going to try to start saving up some platinum to uh buy the metal bits and stuff and turn into an XR. And uh probably get the Steadfast will uh >> [music] >> all of that knocked out here uh probably after the next few bard uh AAs. I think I’ll start working on that. And we’ll switch uh switch to XR. I I I I just like it better. I don’t know. But uh wolf form works inside. I know I got a few messages from people saying wolf form doesn’t work inside. It does in fact work [music] inside. Uh, most things that only work outside should only work inside now. So, they fixed a lot of those those issues that used to exist. And uh you can see there like I just lagged for a few seconds. That’s why I don’t stream. Um I I’ve been having you know, terrible terrible lag issues, but it’s less less noticeable when you’re just like playing offline and stuff like that and making making video guides like I do. So, let’s get this guy dotted up here. There we go. But uh I’ve got my first list [music] of guides that I’m going to start making as soon as I get a little bit more resources to be able to make those. Uh it’s mostly platinum really. And then [music] I’ll do that. I I was going to do them during the closed beta, but obviously there’s no point in doing a lot of that stuff cuz a lot of it’s changed. So, uh going to redo that. Uh probably going to do a video just here on Befallen, uh you know, start to end. Do like a little guide on that. Come through it again. Uh maybe a little bit higher level. Come through it. And uh start knocking some of that stuff out. What are we missing? My My buffs just like randomly come and go. I don’t even know what they are. Haven’t been focusing on the buffs at all. I think we have strength. But uh like you get attacked by all these debuffs and you lose the buff. So, it’s like why bother buffing? There we go. And uh I’ve I’ve gotten 200 plus cleaves already. It’s It’s been pretty nice in all honesty. Like I try to stay pretty low on health uh for the most part so I can get crippling blows. But uh I don’t think it really matters too much. Now, I I’m going to probably invest more into uh uh where is it here? Finishing blow platform. I’m probably going to get that. It’s going to really I think help out the bottom end of the these fights, right? Like just get that extra damage in there ASAP. But uh you know, it’s building. Here There we go. Like double hit. Woah, hundreds. You know, it’s just pretty nice. Bash is up into the [music] 40s now. I had a critical bash for over 100. So, it’s pretty nice. But it’s it’s pretty like this You can see I’m kind of going to the exact same spot every time I go through this. And that’s you know that gets to me that gets a little boring for making videos, right? Like I’m I’ve almost got it like on auto pilot, right? I’m only paying attention to when I need to heal. [music] Because everything else is pretty much the basically say the same thing. So there’s no point in I think making video for all that. Just gets monotonous. Uh but we’re we’re going to go to 25 I think is where I’m going to take take this video and then uh when we get 25 uh we’ll call the video there and then I’m probably going to take a break uh What time is it? 4:00. Uh I’m probably going to take a break and prep whatever I’m going to make for dinner and then uh get that going. And uh whatnot. My wife’s sick so I’m double I’m double duty. Doing whatever I can to help out. I think I I got talked her into [music] a free night. And my Tomorrow’s is vegan so I’m going to make vegan this tomorrow so if she’s not well enough to do it, [music] I’m going to do it. Uh we got these ones at Hag Road. She makes them better than me so >> [music] >> why bother? Uh but tonight I’m going to do a free night for the kids and just uh make a pizza or something. So it is definitely uh definitely been fun. All playing. They’re I’ve literally only talked to a few devs on the uh private Discord uh when complaining about things. So, there is uh I I’m I do not have They do not have any influence over what I say. But, at the same time I I I guess I would feel compelled to not say some things, but uh I I’m pretty open when it comes to saying stuff. There we go, 25. And let’s uh let’s do one more. Like, we’re going to kill this guy, that guy, and then go back to the knight, and we’ll wrap it up with the knight. But, 25 is pretty good. Uh there’s already level 50s, right? Like, people stayed up all night in open world stuff. I think Neriak had instances all night, and I think that someone there got 51st from what I’ve heard. Uh and Freeport lost instances like you know, an hour in. So, but my friend uh Creamer, I think he’s 50. He’s 46. Yeah. So, there you go. He’s uh he’s doing He’s doing well. Every Oh, I’ve been playing with him for like 30 years, and you know, off and on in the different video games, and he’s he’s always been He’s always been ahead. >> [laughter] >> He’s always the better gamer, right? So, it’s it’s nice to see. Nice to see. All right, and let’s go like that. And I’m looking good. Like your stats just like just fly up, right? Like this scrolling text. I was going to turn it off, and then I kind of like seeing the loot without having to look down, right? So, I wish I could turn off the other stuff. I haven’t figured it out yet, but I also didn’t spend any effort on it, so. All right. So, we’re going to kill uh Corvin, and then we’ll go back to the knight, and maybe I’ll get another sword. I’m hoping one more sword cuz this is the last uh last pull I’m going to spend here cuz the experience is starting to slow down. Obviously, it’s not too bad, but we’re going to head off to Soul A. We’re going to kill goblins for a little bit, and then [music] kill uh gnomes, and uh get those gnomes nice and cooked. Going to have a gnome sandwich. So, it’s going to be fun there. All right, and get that I don’t know. My attack goes on and off randomly. I don’t I’m not really sure. It’s just I can’t tell if I’m hitting something or uh whatnot there. All right, merge that. I don’t have the ring mail on auto merge because uh it’ll just keep merging, right? When I don’t want it anymore, and I want to turn it to auto sell. Because uh the next time we go through, right? We’ll do be doing, you know, multiple characters, and ideally, when I go through, everything will be set. I won’t even have to like look at loot. >> [laughter] >> Everything is auto set, right? And something I noticed is uh by default, you have 50 equipment slots, right? And then, if you go to achievements, untapped potential, uh no, it’s this one, level. You can go all the way down here, you hit level 50, view reward, right? You get full potential, which is [music] another 50 slots of trade skills. Oh, they nerfed it. It said 50. Oh, that said 50 yesterday. I’m almost certain I did. Uh well, it’s another 25, so I’ll put you at 75 and then 25 there. I could I swear that said uh that said 50. Uh and then dragons and stuff like that, so that’ll be nice. Little extras there. Oh god, I’m dying cuz I’m talking. And I’m not even I don’t even have attack on. I don’t know like I was fighting the other mob and I guess attack turned off. I don’t know, it’s kind of wonky, right? It is definitely wonky. Uh but yeah, so that’s good there and then yeah, we’re getting some motes. I’ve been spending motes a lot more than I normally do just to level up these spells and then a few key key items that I’ve been grabbing, so that is uh fine there. Oh god, I it’s kind of remarkable that is. But let’s see here, we need shield this. I know so like my one of my priorities is to to go get an extended enhancement. Extended enhancement uh focus item, that’s so we’re going to try to get one of those up fairly soon, I think, because I am Oh god, did I just kill myself with the double dot light uh harm touches that these dudes do? And we’re going to try to get I think Jam Fest is the next one. Uh we’re on track on AAs, so that’s been actually pretty good. With the double AA thing, it’s it’s definitely makes it easier to uh unlock things cuz they they the value of things is kind of like based on twos. So, instead of waiting, you know, six AAs, which could be, you know, like two or three levels, you know, it’s really nice. So, I’ve been God, okay, what? Yeah, this persistent auto attack does not [\h__\h] work. >> [laughter] >> I’m just saying it now, it does not work, right? It is turning off my attack, and I’m not I’m not 100% sure why. I’m not Like I’m actively not trying to push any buttons to see if it’s doing. There we go. All right, so we didn’t get one. But that’s the last kill I’m doing in here. Like we’re down to low experience. [music] So, there you go. That is pretty much an update, right? That’s all the way to 25 now, which means according to my plan that we we went over a few times. Uh we’re done with Befallen. We We stayed here for two three extra levels, actually. And uh >> [music] >> we’re going to head off to Sole now, and then uh uh we’re going to stay in Sole for a while. We’re going to kill goblins and then [music] kill gnomes until about 37. So, that’s about where we’re headed now. Uh I’m going to go buy spells and [music] everything, and uh we’ll be ready to go.
