Hello and welcome to some self- advertising. [laughter] Uh today I want to talk about my website. Uh like I I I just got it done and well I mean I got it to the point where I’m I released it right. I’ve been talking about this for years years upon years. I if you’re on Discord, you you already know about it probably cuz I I’ve been posting some stuff about it here and there. But for for a while I’ve been talking about making a website so I can have like written guides for my videos, right? Like say here’s the mage video, right? We got a whole write up of everything I said in this video, right? [music] Uh everything related to that and uh whatnot. So it’s something I’ve been wanting to do for a while because people have requested it. Now there is no ads on this website even though it says block two things here. What is that? I don’t know. Um but there there should be no ads. The only thing there might be is some like JavaScript resources to go get fonts or something like that, right? Uh I do not collect any data or anything like that. There’s some all kinds of stuff down here. So uh I’ve been working on this for a while trying to come up with a layout that I liked and I finally settled on this as the kind of the layout I wanted. Uh and I spent a lot of time on this. So right now all the all the videos aren’t in here yet. like the the there’s there’s I have almost 3,000 if not more videos on my channel. I plan to have a [music] a post for every single one of those videos, right? You can see here everything goes through it. I talk about the spam. I talk about the rotation. I talk about everything. Uh I got, you know, if you want to just watch the video, you can watch it there, right? Uh I have a new like my my my testing version. I’m I’m adding the uh the uh slides from like the videos I do with slides uh directly into these posts. So when you click on these, you can see the slides and you can go through and read them uh at your at your at your leisure instead of me using Google Slides and stuff like that. So uh that’ll be coming in the next version. But uh so I have like you know the the guides that I’ve recently done this kind of like where this is going, right? Uh if we click on like mage like how I play my mage, right? So, you see that this little bar right here? Now, uh I wanted to I wanted to find out like what what videos am I missing? I make videos from level 50 to level, you know, max level, right? And like you can see here for the mage, I’ve made a lot of mages over the years and I potentially once I have all the videos in here, uh it’s in staging, right? It’s ready to go, right? It’s uh it’s there. Uh I just need to finalize it. Now, finalizing it means me going through and making sure that the spells are actually correct. Um, cuz I I take everything from the my transcript of the video that I make, right? Uh, and then I re, you know, there’s some there’s some magic AI stuff going on there that turns it into the text and then I I spend about four or five hours per per guide making sure that it actually is legit and right. Right. So, it just kind of helps me get the formatting down [music] and then I tweak it and tweak it and tweak it until I’m happy. So, that’s why it takes forever to get these out. Now, the plan is for every video that comes out, right? These are the recent ones. Every new guide that comes out, there’s going to be a companion uh website for it, right? And this they’ll be linked in the uh top the descriptions of the video and everything every video that’s already on here already has its links and stuff like that. Uh, and then once I get all the guides done, I’m going to come back and do get all the gnome guard stuff in here. Uh, the hobs and friends, and then the streaming hamrock stuff in there. But, as you can see, like I, you know, I don’t have a 125 uh or 120 125 or 130 druid video. So, those are some gaps I have that I need to work on, right? Um, like we look at Paladin, we have everything but 130, right? So, I I kind of this helps me figure out where I need to make videos and what I’m missing. And we’ll get those going right. Like Berserker, we started We started at level 100. So, uh I don’t know why there isn’t a level 100 video. I don’t know what I did wrong. Uh but I thought I made one. But so, we need to go back. We need to make another berserker. Level up to uh at least 100 uh and then get up there. Right. So, this this it’s it’s a work in progress. It’s something I’m working. I can see here uh you know some gaps in the monk and we’re going to work you know be working on these you know over the next good while of time here and stuff like that. So uh then we have you know like the series and stuff like I tried to put the news in here so we could kind of I can kind of get some like you know summary of everything that happened on the news for that video, right? Uh and it seems pretty pretty uh pretty accurate uh from everything I’ve looked at. So it’s it’s pretty good. uh some links to all my stuff and then [laughter] terribly written about me that I’m going to work on some more. But definitely uh a resource to help you play these characters better, right? Like like everything’s written here. You can you figure out like what happens like the things that I talk about and focus on in the video are focused and written in the guides, right? And then the quick rotation down here at the bottom, right? I call it multi-bind in a lot of the videos. Uh what and really it’s uh you know it’s it’s a lot about it is a lot about a rotation right and so as we start you know transitioning to more solo videos so a lot of these will start becoming uh more solo based and a little bit more detailed as I spend more and more time playing a character versus playing six characters at once. Right. So I just wanted to kind of talk about this website today. Uh, I’m putting on here I’m I’m also building an EverQuest items database and a spell database. So, when I talk about like in here, right, I talk about Rancorous Servant, right? I want to be able to mouse over this and show a show the spell, right? Uh, I got permission to be able to use the spell icons and stuff like that from the game uh from uh someone on Discord in the uh on the EverQuest thing. So, I’m I’m working on that. So that’s kind of like slowed me down on finishing a lot of these guys is because I want to go ahead and get these these links in. So when I say it does this much damage, right? It’s actually accurate, right? Like these are just what I said in the video. I could have misspoke or something like that and it might not be 100% correct. So there’s some things like that I want to be able to to verify. Uh and then like in I think the paladin one here, uh I talk about items. Uh yeah, I talk about like elegant define. I would like to be able to link to these kind of items and stuff like that so you you know what they look like and what kind of stats they are. Right. So, those are some some future things that I’ll be working on and stuff like that uh to try to improve [laughter] improve the the the throughput of the like getting to the videos, right? Like you know they’re all all this is to drive the videos. That’s why there’s no ads on it. There’s ads on the videos. Uh that’s you know that’s how everything gets paid for. So, if you [laughter] if you like it, you know, like a video and stuff like that. But that, you know, I just want to talk about that today.
