How I Play My Level 105 Berserker
How I play my level 105 EverQuest Berserker, a heroic melee added to my 130 box for its group ADPS. Covers the crit-damage synergy that boosts my Warrior and Monk, the one-button multibind, the below-90% Blood Fury trick, the axe components, all three burn keys, and gear at 105.
My level 105 Berserker is a new heroic character I dropped into my otherwise 130 box, and the reason he is there is group ADPS. His crit-damage synergy and Shared Cruelty push my Warrior and Monk far harder than his own parse does. He plays like a Warrior and a Monk combined: a one-button multibind for the whole ability chain, Battle Leap to stay in melee, and three separate burn keys. He is still in heroic 100 gear, so his personal numbers are low, but what he adds to the group is huge.
Session Overview
Why the Berserker is in the group.
- Origin: I converted my power-leveling Paladin, Holdredge, into a heroic Berserker and raided him from 100 to 105 with my guild, Power Plow, on Drinal.
- Role: group ADPS. His own damage is a bonus, the point is what his synergy adds to the Warrior and Monk.
- Feel: he plays like a Warrior and a Monk combined, with Battle Leap to reposition and a big ability toolkit.
- Trajectory: about 100k to 125k DPS at 105 in heroic 100 gear, on track to match my 130 Monk (1 to 2 million) as he levels and gears.
- Why I added him: I needed a class that would raise the Warrior's and Monk's damage for the tight kill-timer missions, and the Berserker's crit stacking does exactly that.
Class Synergy and ADPS
The real reason he earns his slot.
- Blood Lust Aura: increases the critical damage modifier on the group's crits. With my Warrior already crit-hitting on nearly every swing, this multiplies his damage hard.
- Cry Carnage: the level 98 buff that raises the companions' accuracy and the damage dealt by their critical hits, more crit damage on top.
- Fury's Synergy: triggered by Demolishing Frenzy. The group version gives about 19% increased crit hit, a chance to stun, and a 20% chance for crits to land as crippling blows.
- Shared Cruelty: incites the target's target and myself with a shared blood lust so we both do more melee damage. Aimed straight at whoever tanks. I have seen it add 250k to 1M on the Warrior, taking him from about 2M casual up toward 3 to 3.5M.
- Stacking effect: all of these build on each other. The Monk brings its own per-hit synergy, so the whole group compounds.
Key insight: the Berserker is worth far more for what he does to my Warrior and Monk than for his own parse, especially during burns.
The Multibind (Keys 4 and 5)
One button for the whole ability chain.
- Two keys: everything is bound to 4 and 5. I press 4 for the melee characters and 5 when I also want the Shaman to heal.
- Demolishing Frenzy: three frenzied attacks that debuff the target to take more frenzied and throwing damage, and it triggers Fury's Synergy. On cooldown.
- Amplified Frenzy: lets me use my auto-fired Frenzy more often for extra damage, but only when I am below 90% health (see the Blood Fury panel).
- Demolishing Volley: launches four axes like a nuke, mostly crippling blows.
- Binding Axe: a throw that adds a snare and a damage-over-time debuff.
- Battle Leap: jumps me to my position and into melee range. It makes moving him around the box far easier.
- Vicious Cyclone: an AoE that hits three targets. Careful using it at 105 against 130 content; there are single-target and cleave alternatives if AoE is dangerous.
- Intimidation: raises my Frenzy damage 40% for 30 seconds and can seize the target in place.
- Phantom Assault: spawns a clone pet that attacks for a bit of extra damage.
- Axe of the Ancients: three axe swings (base 600, 800, and 1100) that require but do not consume an axe.
- Bubbling Rage: holds rage longer for a flurry-like chance at extra melee hits. One-minute reuse, cast on cooldown.
- Drawn to Blood: gravitates me to the target, but only while under Blinding Fury or Frenzied Resolve, so it mainly helps during burns.
- Demolishing Axe Throw: consumes an axe and hits hard, roughly 162k on that one ability with crippling blows and double attack.
The Below-90% Trick
Feeding Amplified Frenzy.
- The problem: Amplified Frenzy needs me under 90% health, but my Shaman keeps Ghost of Renewal on me healing about 38,000 every 6 seconds, so I never naturally drop below 90%.
- Blood Fury: instantly consumes about 29,000 hit points (35,000 at the next rank), dropping me to roughly 80% so Amplified Frenzy can fire.
- Where it lives: on my pull button (numpad 1) and my debuff button (numpad 3), not in the multibind, so it only triggers on the pull or opening damage rather than every press.
- Why not in the bind: I tried it there and the constant self-damage occasionally outran the heal and got him killed, so I pulled it out.
The Axe Components
The platinum sink nobody asked for.
- Summon axes: several abilities need summoned axes on hand. At this level I use Axe of the Demolisher (it was Axe of the Brute at heroic 100), with honed axe components coming at 116 and up.
- Consumed vs required: Demolishing Axe Throw, Temple Demolish, and Jarring Smite each consume an axe. Axe of the Ancients requires one in the bag but does not consume it.
- The cost: I paid about 4,000 platinum for 100 components. No other class has to feed itself like this, and I think the axe mechanic could be removed entirely with nothing lost.
Burn 1 (Key 7)
Attack power and rampage.
- Silent Strikes: lowers aggro so I can burn hard without ripping the mob off the tank.
- Focused Furious Rampage: adds an extra melee round on my primary hand. I use the Focused (single-target) version when burning one thing and the all-target Furious Rampage for AoE.
- Desperation: +25% overhaste, but it does nothing with a Bard in the group since I am already at the haste cap. I could drop it from this burn.
- Blinding Fury: +510 attack power for a minute, -15% weapon delay, 100% double attack, and a guaranteed extra two-hander hit for 18 seconds, with a 25% chance to blind me. Worth it, and Battle Leap covers the blindness.
- Spire of the Juggernaut: raises combat prowess and adds throwing accuracy and minimum melee and throwing damage.
Burn 2 (Key 8)
Disciplines and flurry.
- Brutal Discipline: greatly increases my damage per hit. It shares a timer with Avenging and does not stack, so I fire Brutal first and come back for Avenging when the timer clears.
- Vengeful Flurry: -18% weapon delay, 100% double attack, 15% flurry chance, and a guaranteed extra two-hander hit. I want the raid versions of these low-level disciplines.
- Blood Pact: grants a big bonus chance to trigger Blood Pact Strike for a minute, spending 1% health per strike for about 2,700 damage. The health cost is nothing with Ghost of Renewal running.
- Avenging Discipline: the twin of Brutal. Whichever one is up fires first; the other comes round on the next pass, since both are on a 15 minute reuse.
- Breastplate click (use item 17): empty for now. The Snowbound War Armorer breastplate at 110 adds a Shield of Blood absorb and shortens the Brutal Discipline timer.
- Vehement Rage VIEverQuest
Vehement Rage VIBerserker, Monk, WarriorMana0Cast time—Recast—Durationup to 36sTargetselfResisted byunresistable: a short boost to base melee damage to close out the burn.
Burn 3 (Key 9)
The crit and group layer.
- Battlecry of the Mist: raises the group's attack speed and attack rating.
- Frenzied Resolve Discipline: +30% accuracy, a minimum-damage floor per hit, and a guaranteed extra two-hander hit. Ten-minute reuse, one-minute duration.
- Savage Spirit: a 280% non-cumulative increase to crit damage for a minute, then it consumes 25% of my health, which conveniently drops me below 90% again.
- Intensity of the ResoluteEverQuest
Intensity of the ResoluteBeastlord, Berserker, Cleric, Druid, Enchanter, Magician, Monk, Necromancer, Paladin, Ranger, Rogue, Shadowknight, Shaman, Warrior, WizardIncreases the chance your healing and damage spells will apply critically by 50% and the base damage of your melee attacks by 55%. This ability does not stack with Glyph of Destruction.Mana0Cast time—Recast—Durationup to 1mTargetselfResisted byunresistable: a consumable focus for roughly +55% damage and +50% crit. It is a stopgap until I can keep Glyph of the Ultimate Power up at max AA.
Burn cadence: I hit 7 five times, then 8 five times, then 9 five times, so every ability in each burn actually goes off.
Gear and Weapons at 105
Skipping ahead to Snowbound.
Armor
- Current: still the heroic 100 gear, nothing updated.
- At level: Empires of Kunark gear or Burning Lands tier 1 would be the best you can get here. Conflagrant is better but needs 106, so I skip it.
- Plan: jump straight to Snowbound at 110, which is roughly a 4,000-stat increase per slot.
Weapons
- Permalance: a 14-ratio two-hander from Gribble with an 8,000-damage poison proc, likely his next weapon.
- Plane Smasher: a 130 two-hander, 43 ratio with a 15,000 proc, the longer-term target.
- Lifetap axe: a 10,000 lifetap two-hander I am eyeing as a possible final weapon, plus a crafted option if I can get the two-hander recipe.
The Berserker Loop
- Pull: numpad 1 fires Blood Fury so I drop below 90% and Amplified Frenzy can work.
- Engage: spam 4 (or 5 for the Shaman heal) to run the whole ability chain, Demolishing Frenzy on cooldown to keep Fury's Synergy up.
- Reposition: Battle Leap into melee range instead of walking him there.
- Boost the tank: Shared Cruelty on cooldown to pump the Warrior's melee damage.
- Burn: hit 7 five times, then 8 five times, then 9 five times so every burn ability fires.
- Keep axes stocked: summon Axe of the Demolisher so the axe-consuming abilities keep working.

Hello and welcome to how I play my level 105 Berserker. Now, this is a new character. We have not uh there’s been no videos with this guy yet, but uh I took Holddridge, my uh power leveling paladin here on Drenel, and I turned him into a heroic berserker. And during the course of the u hunter raid that we did uh in power plow the guild I am in on Janelle we were uh was able to get him to 105 with only raid experience with my group of characters now. Uh right now his gear is still the heroic 100 gear. There’s nothing that’s been changed. Um, his spells are uh the current level disciplines and everything like that, but uh for the most part his gear is not updated. I don’t plan on updating his gear until uh snowbound at 105 or I mean 110. So he’s going to he’s not going to have the best gear at the moment, but uh definitely uh that. So I’m going to talk about how I play this character, right? So, I this character has been in my group uh my all my other characters are 130. He’s been in the group uh since I created him at 100. He has been fighting alongside my group for all of that one, you know, five levels of experience uh before I decided to stop to make this video. And he is phenomenal. Uh I I was I was skeptical adding another melee to my group, right? Um, I like the monk, it’s it’s kind of already tedious. Like I I’m I’m like I don’t want to I don’t want to move this guy at all. But uh the berserker uh has battle leap just like the warrior. So I can just battle leap myself wherever I’m at and I’m in combat, right? Uh you know, obviously the pointing at the mob is another is an issue that could be a thing, right? And another thing that I was, you know, concerned about is always being blind, right? Uh right here, blinding fury. Uh this is a 10-minute reuse, you know, huge huge damage increase, right? And but you’re blind for uh it’s a 25% chance to be blind for six seconds. And I was kind of I was like, “Oh man, how am I going to move him when he’s like blind and I can’t like I’m like, can I, you know, I can look at the like the other screens and I can kind of see where he’s at, but you know, it’s going to be pain.” Uh, and then I found this this uh this uh aa right uh gravitate toward your target while under the effects of blinding fury or frenzing resolve. Now I was like what? Okay. All right. This is this class is is cool. All right. We’re we’re like I’m thinking now you know what can I you know that’s cool. So I have I have it on my bar. It’s in my multipline. We’re going to talk about all this stuff in there. So, I just wanted to kind of bring that stuff out first. It’s stuff I just didn’t know about the Berserker. And now, you know, we’re learning a little I’m learning a little bit more about it. And, uh, it’s like a warrior and a monk combined in all honesty. Uh, it’s definitely nice. Now, you know, straight up, I’m just going to say I get about 100 to 120,000 DPS at 105 with my heroic 100 gear. Uh I have no scale on how good that is. Like my monk at 130 is doing you know one to two million DPS. So it the current trajectory he will definitely be within the level of the monk at 130. So, uh, but the benefit of the reason I put the berserker in the group in the first place, which increased the DPS of my monk and my warrior by about 500,000 to 1 million per character during burns. Uh it’s about a little bit less, you know, like 250,000 to 500,000 outside of that just because of the blood lust aura and the I can’t see if I can bring that up. Where is it at? Blood flust aura doesn’t say uh let me see if it says we’re here in the right here. Uh fills uh uh fills all around you with blood lust increasing the damage that they do in their critical strikes will cause right. So, this increases the critical damage modifier on my critical hits. Now, if you know anything about my warrior hamrock here, right? If like just let’s just turn this on for a second here. Uh, see smashing all the orange test text is a crippling blow or crippling hit. And you can see that almost everything he does is a So, everything is a critical, right? So, this is doing more and more damage, right? And he’s he’s I think he’s about a 60 to 70% crit rate right now. Uh I haven’t looked lately, but So, we have that. And then we have Cry Carnage, which is our uh currently level 98. I don’t think there was an upgrade. I don’t see it. Uh this one increases our companion’s accuracy and damage dealt by our critical hit. So, even more extra critical damage. So, this is definitely uh pretty nice. And then the berserker synergy right here. Fury’s synergy one since he’s only he’s just got it. Uh every time you do demolishing frenzy, right? So, this is our uh just an attack we get, right? 101. Uh it gives a what is this? A chance your critical chance will land as a crippling blows. Now, Fury’s Synergy. I believe this is a group one, right? like it would be different if it’s not a group one. Uh, all group members. Yeah. So, all group members get a 19% uh increase to their critical uh hit and a chance to stun the target uh or 20% crippling chance to land as a crippling blow. So, you have all this crit damage, crit modifiers and stuff like that. This is really building on this the the class synergy. And right now, if you look like the monk has the synergy of uh getting more damage per hit. So, these are building upon each other. So, I was looking for what would be the best class to add to my group that would increase my warriors damage and my monk’s damage, right? Cuz there’s a there’s a mission where you have to kill the boss in I’m going to say less than 30 seconds to be able to get uh the achievement for defeating the um beating it before the the sky spawns. Right. So, uh, I was like, what can I do to increase that damage? Now, my warrior is already doing more damage to my monk. And this just amplifies that, except in burns. In burns, the monk does more damage, but it is absolutely insane. So, let’s start. Let’s let’s just actually jump into the abilities here. Now, he’s in this uh this this form because this is a part of his juggernaut surge ability, and I just didn’t block the form, but whenever he’s like this, he, you know, does minimum more damage and uh the damage dealt by crits by 60% for 30 seconds. Uh so, it’s pretty crazy, but inside of the guild lobby here that it the buffs don’t wear off. So, it just it’s not it to me it’s not a good place to do parsing, but I you know I I attacked the combat dummy here, the 105 one for uh a little bit. I got between 100 and 125,000 DPS with my current setup. Uh which I don’t I don’t think is probably the best, but I I think I think there’s a lot of room for improvement long term. All right, so my multi-bind like all my characters are all set up the same, right? They all they all have the same hot bar here that’s you know hide corpse and some auto inventory with forage uh assist which is just turn on attack uh go to xtarget 19 which my my warrior has as his main assist sets that then I have pet attack pet swarm um now the berserker does get these little swarm pets I didn’t know which if if he can can command them I put them in put it in there just in case uh for that now the burn is really complicated It’s actually three buttons of abilities and we’re going to talk about that after we talk about the multiind. So every time I push four and five over here on my my hot bar here, right? Uh which one is it? Like eight, six. There we go. Every key is bound to four or five, right? So if I hit four, if I have five, everything on these last two bars triggers plus my assist buttons. Uh, the reason I have two different buttons is one, I want to be able to do melee stuff with my melee characters, and so I hit four, but I do not want my shaman doing something. So, I hit five when I want my shaman to heal. Uh, it’s a little complicated, but uh, it works for me. And there’s just some stuff there. In my new series with Paladin, I’m going to be changing that up a little bit and try some new things from level one. First up, I have Demolishing Fury, which is our synergy ability. Uh, strikes your opponent with three frenzied attacks while making them weaker to additional frenzied attacks and throwing attacks. So, it’s a nice little debuff right off the bat. Plus, it triggers this uh synergy right here. So, that’s going, we get that. Now, I do that ability on cooldown. Next up, I have amplified frenzy. enhances your natural frenzy ability, allowing you to use it uh use the skill more often and adding additional damage to each successful hit. You must be below 90% health to use this effect. Now, this is there’s two parts to this this ability here that are kind of important, right? So, if we do auto skill uh auto skill kick or frenzy, I have auto skill frenzy. So, on cooldown or on cooldown, I will frenzy, right? So, that’s that’s just a combat ability right here. uh that we can use. There’s kick if you don’t have that. I think you get kick first and then you go into frenzy, but I I went with uh you know frenzy that way. So it’s on auto you know auto on cooldown it will automatically use that frenzy ability. So that’s the first part of that right. So I I’ll be able to use that more often but I also have to be below 90% health. Now, uh I run a shaman and my shaman is pretty much permanently having uh what is this spell or I don’t have it on right now, obviously. Uh ghost of renewal on, right? So, I’m permanently pretty much have ghost of renewal on at all times. Uh which is healing me for 38,000 every 6 seconds. So, uh that’s kind of crazy, right? Like, uh how am I ever going to get below 90% health? Uh that’s where blood fury comes in. Now, I used to have it in the multi mine, and it works. It works pretty well in the multivine, but you have to be a little bit more careful uh than I like to be. Uh maybe if I was running a merc healer or something like that. Uh so, blood fury will instantly consume 29,000 hit points, right? So, uh the next rank it goes up to 35, which will be nice to have. Uh so, this instantly takes us takes us down to almost 90% health or where it expects us to be for 90% health. Now, if I click it right there, I’m down at 80% health. Now, I can click Amplified Frenzy, right? So, now what I done, what I’ve done is I put uh Blood Fury on my pull button. So, numpad one is my warriors pull button, right? So, I pull uh with uh one of the taunts, and I do that. Now, I also put it on numpad three, which is my debuff button. So, every time any of my characters do a debuff, uh he’s going to blood fury to get down below health. Now, I only blood fury uh and debuff and all that stuff on pull or on, you know, initial damage. So, he’s not doing it during the fight. I had some issues where I had it in the multi mine, you know, and I’m just spamming four or five the whole time of the fight. Like, I’m literally my fingers have like carpal tunnel from spamming four and five the whole time. And the uh the problem is like the heal was keeping up with it, but eventually he would he would either draw aggro or something would happen. He would get killed. Uh so I took it out. Um I think later on maybe at like 130 I might be able to put it back in and we just we just ride it just just go for it, right? Uh but I I’m not 100% sure. But uh next up I have demolishing uh volley which launches four axes at the targets just like a just like a nuke, right? Boom boom boom boom. Uh we can see we go here to smashing. You can see they’re doing some decent damage, right? And they’re all crippling blows except for that one. So they’re doing even more damage right there. Next up I have binding. Now this is binding axe. It’s just another axe throw that uh you know all the other debuffs are debuffing. So they take more damage from throw. Uh this also does like a snare. So we can do that. You can see there lightning axe 30 second debuff. It’s a little snare plus uh some damage over time. So pretty nice. And then we have battle leap. One of my favorite abilities. Uh don’t use it in the sewers in spite, but it is great. Uh you go like that and just literally you’re wherever you’re at, it puts him there. So this kind of makes it easier for me. Like when I’m multiboxing, right, uh all my characters sit, you know, wherever I leave them, and then I run in with my warrior, and then I go from, you know, go to the monk, the bard, and the berserker now. And I just turn them uh and position them just enough so that they can melee. Uh but with the with this, he is already in melee range, and I just have to turn the camera, and it makes it so much easier. It almost like I would if the monk didn’t have the synergy that the monk did, I would probably replace the monk with something else. Uh just because it is it is a little it’s a little bit tedious to move him all the time. Uh in the bard, you know, I don’t have to even do anything. But uh uh it’s a great ability and it saves time. Now, next up, we have vicious cyclone, which is just an AoE. Hits three targets. Now at 105 with one doing 130 content. This is this is a dangerous ability. Now there is there is you know alternates. Uh see here what is it at here? These uh uh yeah so this one does a cleave in front of us. You know there is uh these ones are AoE. So I’m okay with it because I you know I can do them. But it’s something to keep in mind. you might not want to be AoEing uh every 12 targets in front of you at 103 versus you know whatever you know content you’re fighting. So definitely something to keep in mind there. But for my for my the way I play it doesn’t matter if he dies. I just res him. So uh then we have intimidation. Now, intimidation is uh it’s a uh it’s an it’s an ability, right? And it’s like a fear at level one, but at some point uh it becomes an actual debuff. So, this one here, intimidation, uh increases the damage of our frenzy attacks by 40% for 30 seconds and the potential to seize the target of the free levels fewer levels higher than you. So, it gives them this like uh fear effect where not they don’t run away, but they stand in place stunned, right? And it’s a nice little It’s a nice little uh ability, right? It’s pretty nice. Uh next up, we have Phantom Assault. And I don’t think I got a new one for this one yet, but uh I like this. This is kind of funny. Uh when you do this, right, let me let me do it. So, if I stand right here, target him. Phantom Assault. There we go. And I get a little pet. Now, this pet, I think he’s a swarm pet, honestly. Uh, but I’m not 100% sure. He just clones me. He goes and attacks and it’s pretty cool. And I don’t know if he counts for the mage pets of the mini um, you know, debuff there, but, you know, it’s definitely it’s definitely uh, you know, extra damage, right? You can see here it’s like 4k damage just turning it on. So, and it’s it’s pretty nice. Uh, next we have Axe of the uh, Aons. Uh, strike your opponent with three axe swingings, dealing a base damage of 600, 800, and,100. Uh, requires but does not consume an axe of the demolisher. Now, the axe of the demolisher, that’s a that’s a segue into something else, right? So, these uh throughout the leveling of the berserker, you have to summon axes. You have to use these components here, like find components. Now, for this level, uh I was using crafted components at heroic 100. Now, I have like all these components left over. I don’t can’t use uh different axes like I had axe of the brute before. Now I have axe of uh the demolisher, right? And I believe the next ones are honed axe components for the 116 plus. Now, with that, axe the aons requires you to have them in your bag, but they are not consumed. So, if we look here, it’s I have it in my ammo slot for some reason. Uh, and then boom, like that. 9 191 still there. But you can see we did, you know, 113,000 140,000 and 67,000 on the three uh three little axes there. So, it’s a nice big damage, right? Like you see that that one ability was like 440 uh 440,000 DPS. Um, obviously not sustainable, but uh definitely pretty nice. They swack it again there. You know, that one was 29,000, so didn’t didn’t quite uh live up to the same same amount of damage there, I guess. I don’t know. Or it was it was within the the timer didn’t reset enough for it to uh show that. But, I mean, it’s a lot of damage and it’s, you know, pretty quick cool down. You can see there like it’s I’ve already done 1.4 4 million damage just from that using that one ability. Next up, we have shared cruelty. Now, I didn’t even know berserkers got this ability. Uh when I was going through the uh the heroic 100 video, uh I might have just glanced over, but this is actually pretty nice. Now, incites your target’s target and yourself with a shared blood lust, increasing the amount you both do with melee weapons. Hello. Uh, now I was like, how can I increase my warrior’s damage? Boom. This ability right here is directly for that. And I I say warrior, but it could be any tank. Uh, getting this to land on my monk would be kind of difficult because my monk would have to be the target of t target target. And uh, it’s almost impossible for him to to do that unless my warrior doesn’t do anything. So, uh, this is pretty cool. increases damage. I’ve noticed, you know, I’ve I’ve noticed anywhere from 250,000 to 1 million damage increase on my warrior. So, he’s gone from about 2 million just, you know, just casual DPS to 3 million almost 3.5 million at times. Uh, and that is that is crazy. That’s just just the berserker in the group and you know, we’re everybody’s churning and synergizing, right? So, it’s definitely nice. I don’t know how well it would have, you know, scale with the knights, but uh cuz the warrior has such a high crit rate, right? So, he’s already doing more damage than probably everybody else anyway. But, uh, sher cruelty is very nice. I do it on cooldown. Can’t do it in here cuz the combat dummy will not target anybody. So, I will not get a target of target. So, uh, and then we have this juggernaut surge. This is an AA that we’ve been uh or in this form. My character is normally a dwarf and I did that because uh he stays small and uh I like I like my characters small. That’s why I always make gnomes or something like that. So I just I don’t I don’t like big characters. And for some reason when I was shrinking like an illusion, he was not staying shrunk after he went back into this form. And I don’t know if that’s just cuz his, you know, he’s his natural form is an illusion. I don’t know. But it just better as a dwarf, I guess. Uh, if they ever allow gnomes to do it, I’d probably do gnome just so he’s smaller. Uh, but this juggernaut form turns you into a living golem, increasing your minimum damage you deal from your melee and throwing attacks by 150 points. Uh, scaled based on delay of weapon and the damage you dealt with your critical melee attacks by 60%. Huge, huge little bonus right there. Uh, it’s a six-minute reuse and you know I the way I play is anything under 10 minutes is spammed. Like it doesn’t matter to me. If I’m fighting a boss like it’s going to be up because I’ve you know had to go through the ready and I have had to go through all that stuff. There’s not a single named in the shattering of row that I needed any kind of burns for. Uh other than you know I was doing stupid stuff and pulling multiple mobs at the same time and I just wanted to kill them fast. like every everything in the in the all the content that I’ve done uh up to this point in the game has not required any any of the per um to complete. Uh next up I have bubbling rage. Uh by tempering your rage you can hold it longer adding additional chance for melee attacks for a period of time. Uh there’s a chance these attacks will refresh your rage. I don’t exactly know what this does, but it sounds like it increases my chance of hitting additional attacks like a flurry. So, definitely uh you know, I do it on cooldown. It is a one minute reuse and it’s zero duration. So, definitely worth doing there. Um and then drawn the blood, that final ability I was talking about that uh it it will draw me to the target, right? It’ll pull me, gravitate me to the target. Uh, and this one requires me to be under the blinding fury or frenzy resolve effects. So, uh, it’s nice when I’m blind, which is only done during burns, but I have it in there anyway. And then we have finally at the very end here, we have demolishing uh, demolishing axe throw. Now, um, this ability is the actual ability that drains. See there, it took a I pointed to the screen instead of using the mouse. It took an axe, right? So, every time we uh use this ability, it does consume an axe. Uh but you can see there it did what 162,000 DPS on that one ability with uh crippling blows, double attack. So, definitely a nice ability. Obviously, it’s expensive ability. The whole axe component of this class does not even make sense. I’ve I’ve been trying to figure it out and like there’s a few abilities, right? Uh so these temple demolish right here. This one I believe takes an axe instead of uh it it’s uses the same timer as a different ability that doesn’t take an axe, but so if I temple crush or temple demolish him, right, it takes that same axe ability, right? Uh and it consumes an axe, right? And then I believe Jarring Crush does also. Uh, see here, Jarring. Jarring Smite. Jarring Smite does a distraction. Yeah, that’s the newer one, right? Let’s grab that one. I don’t use it, so doesn’t get updated. Jaring Smite just boom. I think it’s like a little stun effect. It’s just another one. Consumes an axe, right? So, I have them there if I want to swap them out. I went with the throwing. It seemed like more DPS. Uh the this one here. So, this will stun up to 105 for the demolish. Now, in the final fugue mission where you have to stun the boss to unlock him. I would probably swap that, you know, down uh at 120ish, you know, when I’m in that if his stun can hit 129 at that level. I have no idea. But other than that, it doesn’t really something that would I would take. I wouldn’t take a DPS loss for a stun any day of the week. Uh especially the way I play, everything dies really fast. Like if let me see here if I can pull this in. Like here’s my log. Let’s go uh open this log for the last eight hours. See if we can get something here from this morning here. Wax butler. Wash. So, here I didn’t Now, this character is not in these, but you can these are all raid fights. Uh, Spectre. Here’s an actual open world mob. Uh, 38 seconds named in Laurian’s song. 12 second normal mob. Like, the mobs are dying so fast, right? Like, there’s no point in even doing anything in all honesty. A ghost. That one was 53 seconds cuz it didn’t get killed right away. 18 seconds on that one. I mean, I’m I’m just instantly killing stuff, right? Like, uh, and then when the berserker’s in the group, things are dying even faster. So, stunning stuff doesn’t really do much for me. Uh, when I can do more damage to kill things faster, right? So, I just depends there. So, that is my multi-bind. That is like every time I push four or five, this all these abilities get triggered in some form or fashion. So that should make sense there. Uh we talked about cry carnage. Now let’s talk about the burn. The burn is there’s a lot of there’s a lot of abilities and I I’ve been going through. Now there’s still more abilities we do not have at 105. We will get those at uh 106 and I think 110. And we’ll talk about those in the follow-up videos. But uh this is currently what I got. So, silent strikes lowers our aggro. Obviously, uh when you start burning a significant amount of stuff, uh you want to do as less dam less hatred as you possibly can. Uh and uh definitely I I haven’t noticed any problems so far. Uh but my warrior has got the two tank weapons and he’s he’s pretty good. So, I’m not I’m not concerned about that. And we have focused furious rampage which causes our uh our primary slot melee rounds to hit our target with an additional round. Right. So this one also has uh furious rampage which all target. So it’ll either hit all targets or hit one target for an additional hit. It’s right. Uh I do focus because that means I’m burning on this specific thing. If I’m doing an AoE I’ll do then I’ll do uh the Braxy and Furious Rampage. But, you know, it just depends. Uh, desperation. So, this will increase our overhast by 25%. Not a whole I like I don’t know if this actually stacks, right? Uh, so we are at 225 right now. That’s cuz I have a bar in my group. If I hit desperation here, if it’s not 250 and it doesn’t do anything. So, it it’s it’s pointless with a bar in the group. So, I could definitely take that out of my burn. Uh but uh you know, you never know, maybe the part’s not sen because she’s drunk. I don’t know. Uh and then blinding fury. This one is pretty fun. It blinds us possibly. It’s a there’s a chance there’s a chance we’ll be blind for uh 6 seconds. Uh but in all actuality, like I I play for my warrior, so it’s not even a big deal in all honesty since I can battle leap to get closer if the mob moves and I battle leap on cooldown. So, it’s it’s it’s like zero issue. Nothing that I even would consider a problem. Uh, but increases our attack power by 510 for a minute. Reduces our weapon delay by 15%. Grants a 100% chance to double attack. 100% chance to land one extra hit with a two-hander for 18 uh seconds, but has a 25% chance to blind me. So, I think it’s worth it in all honesty. I think it’s worth it. Uh, and then like when we get 130, we’ll do some like everybody together videos. Uh, we’ll do these uh like that and you’ll see the real the sheer damage I’m pumping out. Uh, then we have Spire of the Juggernaut. Uh, activated increases your combat prowess for 1 minute and 30 seconds. Passive effect increases our hit points, blah blah blah. uh grants you a 100% chance um to do Juggernaut’s weakening on attackers when I’m struck in melee combat. Doesn’t happen very much uh that he gets hit. Uh increases our throwing accuracy by 50%. Increases the minimum damage of our throwing by 60 points and our minimum damage of our throwing attacks by 60. minimum damage of our melee and throwing attacks by another 135. So, it just like kind of like increases our damage slightly. It’s not as big as some of the other spires that other classes get, but it’s pretty nice. So, that’s burn one. I So, the way I do it is I go 7 seven77. I hit it five times and then I switch over to eight and I hit eight five times, right? Um I don’t have to. Uh most of the time some of these will just get activated anyway. But you know, it just depends on uh depends on if I’m lucky enough and they actually go through. But I I try to hit everything five times, right? So when I say I’m hitting 777 in videos, that means I’m I’m I’m hitting it at least five times to get that going. And then I switch to eight and then so on and so on. Uh next up, we have brutal disciplines. So there’s two disciplines here, brutal and avenging. Uh there might be updates to these. I did not check before I made started the video, but so avenging does not have an update. Brutal, brutal and avenging, they do not stack, right? They take up the uh discipline timer. So the I have them both here. I do brutal first and then I come back around and I hit eight when uh when that one’s done in 30 seconds. That way I get both of them there without having to think about it. But avenging, let’s see, let’s go back to brutal first. Uh, brutal. Let’s make sure there’s not an update to this cuz I did not check. Yeah, there’s no update yet. Uh, causes your body to be consumed in berserker rage greatly increasing your damage pendal. So, it get bigger hits, right? Bigger hits. Then we have a vengeful flurry. Uh, reduces our weapon weapon delay by 18%. Grants 100% chance to double attack, 15% chance to perform a flurry of attacks, and a 100% chance to one extra hit with a two-hander. So, massive amount of extra damage there. Uh, obviously I would want to go get the if there’s no updates to this, I’m going to want to go get the raid version of both of those because they’re such, you know, so low level. I could probably solo those. So, when I’m hitting eight, one of these will get activated. Uh, whichever one is activated first doesn’t matter to me. Uh, I’m not too concerned. But, uh, then, you know, when the next time I go through, the next one will be up to activate that one. uh because they are 15minute reuse. Then we have blood pack which uh when activated grants your melee attacks a chance with a 360% bonus to trigger blood pack strike for 1 minute. Uh that consumes 1% of my health to deal 2700 damage, right? So I lose a little health, but it does damage. Uh you know, it’s it’s nice. Like I guess it’s going to scale up pretty nice over time, right? You see the next one’s 3,000. So, as we get higher level, it’ll scale more and more, but uh you know, 1% health is nothing. I like I that is less than a rounding error because of the constant renewal from ghost renewal, which I cast on cooldown on my shaman. So, it it’s never when I’m actually in combat, it’s never off unless I stop doing anything. So, it’s uh just just depends, right? Uh, next up we have use a breastplate which is use item 17. Now I do not have an item a usable item right yet. Right. The breastplate I’ll get for 110. The snowbound one will have a clickie. I just don’t know what it is. We might be able to get a preview off of it real quick. Uh, here we go. Yeah, the wararmonger uh, breastplate. Let’s see what it does. Let’s see here. Effect shield of blood. absorb 40% of incoming melee damage up to 8,000 melee damage per hit. Well, that’s kind of suck. Uh, you know, it’s more defensive, I guess. You know, we’re taking you know, we’re taking some hits. I guess it’s a little defensive. It’s not offensive, so that’s a little down, but uh it does reduce the time of uh the brutal discipline, which uh is the blinding rage, right? So, the blinding rage discipline. Uh, so that’ll am I missing something here? Blind rage. We might not have that yet. There’s blind rage. Uh, so this is a timer four increasing. All right. So I don’t have this one on my interesting. All right. So this found a new ability here. Uh greatly increasing. So it’s a timer four. Am I just like am I just uh timer four? Brutal. Oh no, never mind. Brutal is is brutal. It’s brutal discipline. Okay. I don’t I don’t know why when I click this it took me to blind rage. All right. So it’s the same spawn. Yeah, nothing new. All right, I’m obviously I’m still learning this class. And then after all of that, we have Bahame Rage uh right here, which will just increase our base melee damage and whatnot for a little bit. So, it’s a nice little burn there. Then we have a third a third button a third button. Uh and of course, I doesn’t look like I put them down here. So, let’s see if we can find these ones real quick. So this one’s Battlecry of the Mist. Now this I I don’t know why I picked this one. It’s a timer nine, right? So I believe this is just the best one. So this increases the attack speed and attack rating of the group, right? So let’s put this like right here, right? So that’s that. Then we got frenzied resolve discipline. Another discipline, right? So many disciplines. Uh this one’s level 94. I don’t think there was an upgrade to this one. I didn’t check the burns in all honesty. Uh 15. There’s prior retaliation. I don’t think there’s the same thing. Yeah, this one increases our accuracy by 30%, minimum damage to 300p, at least 300 per hit, and at 100% chance to land one extra hit with a two-hander. Right. So, there’s a lot of flurry action going on in this class. So, definitely do that. Now, that’s going to take the uh it’s going to 10-minute reuse, one minute duration. That is going to take up the the buff timer here. So, uh that’s, you know, 30 seconds after the the one the two on eight resolve. We can hit this one again if we need it, but uh chances are we are not going to need it at that time. Then we have Savage Spirit, which is an AA. grants a 280% non-cumulative increase to the damage of your critical attacks for one minute. Uh, and then at the end of that, it will consume 25% of my health, which is convenient because I need to lose health anyway. So, that’s pretty nice. And then we have intensity of the resolute, which is a special focus right down here. uh intensity that just does more damage. Uh right there just uh what is that a 55% extra damage uh 50% extra critical. So it’s is a nice damage uh is temporarily uh until I max AA I’m not going to be able to do glyph of the uh ultimate power. So once I can once I can do glyph of the ultimate power, I’m not even going to ever bother with the intensity resolute again because I’ll be able to keep that up, you know, pretty much on cool down because AAS are so easy to get. Uh but this will increase our base melee hits by 15%, criticals by 20, blah blah blah. Everything goes up. So it’s nice. It’s consumable, so it takes a but uh you know, we’ll eventually be at that point where we can use that. And I think it’s even higher at the higher level ranks of that. No, I’ve been talking for a while. Um, I think that’s everything. I in all honesty, I’m looking at everything here. I don’t think there is anything else that we need to mention about this build. Right. So, gearwise, like you would want Empires Akunar gear at 105. Uh you could get the burning land tier one also at this level and that would probably be the best stuff you can get. It’d be better than confflagrant. Uh but conflrant requires 106 so you can’t even use that yet. So definitely uh you know you got some options there. I’m I’m going to just skip over Conflrant and go straight to a snowbound. Uh which will uh give me, you know, obviously, take a look at this here. Like it is a, you know, 4,000 stat increase, right, per slot. And uh, you know, I’m probably going to go run Gri a few times. Uh, I have a weapon for him. Where that weapon is, I think it’s over here. Yeah, permalance. So, I’m probably move to this. It’s a 14 ratio uh perlance weapon here. So, it’s, you know, a wave of poisons. Deals 8,000 damage. It looks like a pretty nice weapon for him. Uh I do have this for him later on. Plane Smasher. This is a 130 weapon. 43 ratio, 15,000 proc. So, I think that’s, you know, that’s the direction he’ll be going. There is an axe I want. I think I gave it to Voxil on accident. Yeah, right here. This one. I think this is going to be his final weapon. Uh when I when I get another one to drop, uh it’s a life tap, so he kind of it’s a 10,000 life tap, so he’s like, you know, sucking his life out, but he can also bring it back in. So it’ll be kind of an interesting kind of concept there. Uh but obviously I’ll probably do the crafted one if I can get extra two-hander thing for it. But uh this character is, you know, leveling overtime, right? I’m not going to be pushing this character too much. Uh uh I am I am starting fresh with all all caster group here uh very soon. So it’s this guy will be leveled up, but he’ll just get his videos as needed. He’s not he’s going to be on the streams uh whenever I play him. He’s just not high enough to get into the missions that I do and all the other stuff. So uh when we do he he’ll be around, but he’s uh he’s going to be there. We’ll do some stuff with him. at 130 all the way and stuff like that. But uh definitely pretty good class. I am I was totally shocked. It took me a little while reading a lot of stuff to figure out a lot of the stuff and you know understand I don’t I think the axe component can be completely removed from the class and nothing would be lost. Uh I think it’s just kind of pointless that I have to spend uh I don’t know. I spent 4,000 for 100 of these. So, I spent, you know, quite a bit of cash uh buying all these axis components, and I feel like they’re just a platinum sync for no reason. No other class really has to do that. So, I don’t know. Uh, but that is how I play my 105 105 Berserker. I will be doing another video at 110, 115, 120, 125, and 130 at max AA. Uh that’ll be, you know, in the next uh it’s going to be it’s going to be months. It’ll be over time. Uh but definitely that’s the direction we’re going. But thank you very much for watching and please have a fantastic day.
